To determine proper size Attic Fan needed for your home: - Multiply the square feet of your attic area by .7 CFM for minimum air delivery needed
Example: 1500 sq. ft. attic area X .7 CFM = 1050 CFM - For dark roofs, add 15% to CFM
- For exceptionally large attics or split level homes, use two or more attic fans
- A minimum of one (1) square foot of inlet area for every 300 CFM is required for proper fan operation.
