Medallions for Ceiling Fans by Westinghouse

A ceiling medallion is used above the canopy of a ceiling fan to add a decorative element.  These medallions are lightweight, durable and easy to install.  Ceiling medallions can be installed unfinished or finished in a number of ways - including painting or staining.  Each medallion comes with the following mounting hardware:

• One 3 Inch 1/8 IP Nipple
• Two 2 Inch 8-32 Crossbar Screws
• Three 1 1/2" Drywall Screws

Consider these factors when selecting the proper size of a ceiling medallion:

• The size of your fan or light fixure —medallions should be larger or smaller than the diameter of the fan or fixture, but never the same size.
• The height of the ceiling —higher ceilings can accomodate larger medallions.
