The Stratos ceiling fan is the first truly modern ceiling fan.  It bears no reference to the Victorian-era design that still dominates the ceiling fan industry.  Among its innovations is the column-like support in place of the thin downrod typically used on other fans.  This larger scale downrod gives the Stratos a feeling of attachment to the architectural space.  The Stratos is constructed of die-cast and extruded aluminum and is offered in brushed aluminum or gloss white finishes.
