Lamping options include 100-Watt incandescent or 26-Watt, color-corrected, energy saving compact Fluorescent. With the Fluorescent option, the Halo qualifies for the EPA's EnergyStar label as a highly effecient, energy conserving design. Unlike other fans on the market, the Halo functions equally well as a luminaire as it does a ceiling fan.
