These are fans that have meet the qualifications of the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program. Ceiling fans that have earned this label are about 10% more efficient than standard ceiling fans. Shown to the left, the Craftmade CXL is a prime example of fans in this category.

 | Integrated Light Fixtures A subset of the Light Kit Included category, this list contains only those ceiling fans whose lighting is integral to the overall design. You will not find externally mounted fitters and glass on these fans. Shown to the left, the Hunter Lugano is an example of a ceiling fan with integrated lighting. |

 | Light Kit Included Ceiling fans in this list are bundled with light fixtures, some of which are integral to the design, while others add fitters and glass to complete the package. These fans provide all of the function of a regular fan, but in a less conspicuous manner, making them ideal for smaller rooms. Fans of this type are also known as Hugger or Close-to-Ceiling fans.
